If you had the honor to meet him, you would know his smile would light up the room. Living in a wheelchair since birth, his life looked much different from yours and mine, but nothing seemed to bog him down. I was young when I knew Tío Pito, but the memories are vivid. One in particular was pushing him to his favorite beach as far as the board walk would let us, and we would just sit there enjoying the salty air. He pursued what he could and smiled from afar when he couldn’t, always enjoying the view. Pito’s strong, loving spirit is the core of this company and we will continue to push boundaries, be bold, and stop to smell the salty air.
Where else to begin than to introduce the face behind the name, my late Tío Pito.
